Answer: With MOVIT brakes you will have: stiffer calipers, better cooling system, better rotors, approx. 60% bigger pads, so bigger swept area, higher braking force, lower temperatures, higher lifetime, and the best: kits that fits under stock wheels! No modification! All kits are bolt-on. What is included in my kit? Answer: Rotors with cast holes and ventilation slots, aluminium hats, calipers, brake pads, brackets, steel braided brake lines and bolts to mount the kit. The only thing that's not included is brake fluid. Is the anti-lock braking system still active? Answer: ABS is not touched and works as before. In which colours do the calipers come? Answer: Red or black (some kits) are standard colours. You can have your calipers painted in any colour for an extra fee of 200 EUR Will the brakes fit my wheels? Answer: It depends on the brand of the wheels, please ask before order if you are not sure. MOVIT have brake kits that fit most stock wheels. If not, they have kit with integrated spacers. Measure your wheels and see if they fit What is the delivery time? Answer: About 2-3 weeks, MOVIT manufacture each brake kit upon customer orders because of the variety of the kits that MOVIT have, 1600 different brake kits. What is the freight cost? Answer: Scandinavia except Norway about 50-60 EUR. Norway and over seas about 100 EUR / kit. All kits are sent by UPS. How do I pay? Answer: By invoice in advance, all prices are in EURO. Bank transfer for European customers through IBAN and SWIFT code. Over seas through regular bank transfer. Does the price include VAT? Answer: The price is net price i.e. 16% German VAT will be added to the price. If you have a VAT number (Company) or are located outside the EU you can buy the brakes at net price. How do I drive-in my new brakes? Answer: If you follow these directions you will have the best brake with the longest lifetime! A new MOVIT brake system needs approx. 1000 km to bed-in! By soft braking from low speeds the pad can be bedded-in perfectly. After this do many soft brakings with a middle pedal pressure from approx. 100 - 140 km/h. As soon as the pad attached with his wohle surface on the disc - the optimal heat dissipation and braking force is reached. Never park the car with hot brake discs. Pads and discs should be inspected regulary of their wear, for street car 1 time in the year or after 15000 km and for race car after every racetrack. It is important that the holes in the disc are always open/cleaned to guarantee a troublefree function.
